Oh I couldn't sit through the hunger games movie. I think i legitimately fell asleep in the middle of the first one because it was too slow. It makes sense because of course the time of the hunt in the book is 89% katniss thinking to herself but you basically CAN'T translate that onto the screen without having a voice over lasting for the entirety of the movie...

Same reason I'm glad they got rid of the telepathy gimmick in the maze runner, tbh. THAT'S an adaptation choice I'm really glad they did, even if it's pretty important plot-wise.
