Reviewing 2021 | writing
FAVE STORY: i think it's half a century of dead ends. i liked exploring the dynamics between the three of them. im a bit sorry i couldn't finsh the series this year.
BEST STORY: i don't know but i still like in the years we were apart after re-reading it, and and yet they were fond memories was so different from my usual writing that it deserves a mention i think.
MOST UNDERAPPRECIATED STORY: my fault because i haven't really spammed it outside of people who were directly interested - but signs of a greater good deserves a little more love.
MOST FUN STORY: i wasn't much "fun" this year, but i guess the funniest - for its premise - it's the small things...
SEXIEST STORY: ...which is also the "sexiest" one, because i haven't written much sex this year. okay no there's a pretty sexy scene in the years we were apart too, even if it was very vague.
STORY THAT SHIFTED MY PERCEPTION OF THE CHARACTERS: i have a strange relationship with yennefer. i don't dislike her as a character but the way she was written in all the media always rubbed me the wrong way. writing from her POV in in the midst of chaos definitely helped me like her more.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: i didn't think i was going to ever write for stranger things and yet i did and what the tide washed away was born! i actually have a bunch of related plots to it. maybe next year.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: i haven't posted it yet, which is why it's a disappointment. i've been writing this fic for months now and it's still in my folders instead of being online. sigh.
EASIEST STORY TO WRITE: none. every single one of them felt like pulling teeth. writing was a mistake.
BADWRONGEST STORY: dumpster fire it's not really badwrong but it's filled with suicidal thoughts: that's what happen when i write roy mustang apparently.
MOST UNINTENTIONALLY TELLING STORY: i don't think there's any particularly telling story this year. i haven't written enough....
