writing 2025: a summary

2025 masterlist

  • 12 work(s) for 5 fandom(s)
  • posted 18.5k words
  • drafted 18k words

well. that went well. what if i cry

welcome to the second worst year i’ve ever had. i need to remember that i was in the middle of moving out, and also dealing with the worst case of people can’t do their fucking job at work, so i should cut myself some slack, but also. welp.

favourite AND proudest of:

this was a commission and it took me way too long to get it done (thanks for being patient sil) but it also contains one of my original characters and the whole thing just— i don’t know, it works so well. i managed to make it into a really well crafted little thing

most fun

  • baldur's gate, obey (459 words)
i wouldn’t really call it fun but the premise is very funny. it’s almost crack treated seriously, in a way

sexiest

only vaguely nsfw fic i wrote this year i guess.

rearranged my brain about characters

not really, but it always puts me in a weird perspective writing characters for the first time. “to a long life” would qualify for this category as well, i think.

surprise

  • corrmarun, nautiloid (1401 words)🔒 locked
didn’t think i was going to write about themTM anytime soon but i did manage.

easiest to write

  • the under garden (MAF), measuring (672 words)🔒 locked
nothing was easy about writing this year, but i guess this was the one that was already the most formed when i managed to draft it. so here it is.

badwrongest

my writing was so tame this year, but i guess dehumanization and human trafficking count as badwrong as far as themes go

most unintentionally telling

once again not really, but i always feel like i’m showing my ass when it comes to astarion and sewing.
