love letter to fandom

my love letter is to the concept of blorbo.

having a little guy (gender neutral) haunting your brain at all times is such a special thing. makes your days a little lighter and your nights a little less lonely. makes your brain a little more creative - put that blorbo in situations! - and fills you with feels.

occasionally, other people care about the same blorbo. and when you find those who are Correct about blorbo, you can make fast friends, and that’s also so special.

so shout out to all the little guys out there, and all the people squeezing blorbos, making the fandom alive and interesting and so various.

sameeee it's both fun to say and it encompasses all the nuances of "little guy i like to rotate in my mind" without sticking it in a single box. umbrella term for all the ways a character can be a lil obsession. love it sm.

yessss sameeee i feel like back in the day (TM) we didn't have a term that could accurately include the husband/wife/babygirl/stressball/gremlin/fave nuances that blorbo can. what a word.
